Bourjois magic nail polish remover dupe?

I'm sure all of you are now aware of the hype over bourjois much loved product, 'magic nail polish remover'.
I was so keen to try it our for myself, as I always dread taking nail varnish off,no matter how hard I try the remover seems to spill all over my hand. sad face. Anyway, I couldn't find the bourjois version, and saw this in poudland (yes, you heard right). I decided to give it a whirl, here's what I though of it:

Like the boujois version,it has a sponge inside it. This smells like typical nail varnish remover, but I didn't really find it a big deal, as every nail varnish remover I have ever came across has smelt the same, however from reviews I've read, the bourjois version smells nice (Oh bourjois, you do spoil us..) I'd say it took about 5-6 seconds to completely remove the polish, which I found quite impressive personally. The packaging feels quite flimsy, and I accidentally  left this upside down (No,I don't know how I managed to do that either..) and it spilt over a few pieces of paper,no drastic harm done, and It hasn't leaked since,so I was satisfied with that. One thing I did notice is that little pieces of sponge rip away and get stuck onto your nail, but  for £1 the sponge quality isn't going to be the greatest.

I will be picking up the boujois version if I see it,and maybe I'll do a comparison post. All in all, I dont think this is the best quality, but for £1, its worth a shot!

Have you tried this?

Montagne jeunesse skin heroes range!

It feels like I haven't posted in ages, even though  my last post was on Tuesday! Between being ill, school work and various other things, I seem to be posting a lot less recently. Nevertheless, today I am back with a review of the new Montagne jeunesse skin heroes range, kindly sent to me for review.

Montagne jeunesse has always been the brand I reach for when my skins in need of a face mask, as all their products are suitable for vegetarians, and they always look to use natural ingredients (hooray!) I cannot say enough good things about this range, it literally left my skin glowing, each and every face mask. The nose pore strips (photographed above) helped my nose a lot. I tend to get lots of blackheads (not pleasant, to look at, or to read about!) It really helped clear them up and make my pores less noticeable, plus it smelt of oranges!

Each face mask came with a moisturiser, which was great. It took a while to absorb, but I didn't really see this as a problem. It left my skin soft, and got rid of all my dry patches of skin (I don't really tend to suffer from dry skin) The range consists of; a T-zone peel off (my personal favourite) a break out mask, a dry skin mask, a shine control mask and finally, the de-clog nose pore strips. Everything in the range smelt so nice! I would definitely recommend this to anyone with skin problems, as this definitely did the trick for me! I will be re-purchasing these in the future!

You can buy skin heroes here online.

Skin heroes are also now available at asda,so be sure to check them out!

(Products sent for review, but as always, this my 100% honest opinion)

Batiste review # 2: cool & crisp fresh

Most of you will know of my love for batiste products, so when I saw the press release for this, I knew I had to try it! I'll start off by saying how much I love the packaging on this; I'm not sure why, but there's something about all the shades of blue that really draws my attention to this product!

I found that this smelt different to the all the others I tried, instead of the typical floral/feminine scent I usually expect from batiste, they really surprised me with this!  I can only describe the scent as clean/fresh. This lasted me for a good few weeks, and I was amazed at how little product was needed to refresh my hair!

As with all all other dry shampoos, spray onto roots (keeping nozzle 30cm's away from hair) then massage through with fingertips.

I am happy to say, batiste didn't let me down with this one. It worked wonders, not at just removing slight grease, but I found it also gave my hair a fair bit of volume, well done batiste!

All in all, I think this is worth a shot if your looking for a fresh, clean scented dry shampoo.

(product was sent to me for free for consideration. All opinions ons are 100% honest, as always.)

Some recent purchases...

I haven't done a haul on this blog for quite some time now, so I decided it was about time i did one. I'll just get started, before i ramble.

I nearly passed out with excitement when I saw this in bodycare! It only cost £1, and is an exact rip off of OPI's rainbow connection. I will get a post up on this in the future.

I have finally found a bb cream which matches to my ghostly pale skin! hoorah! I brought this from superdrug for around £8-9, I shall be sure to get a review up on this! If you have been following my blog for awhile, you will know of my obsession witht the bourjos healthy mix foundation! I swear by it,honestly! I picked up another one,as my other had become too empty for my liking...

I bought the angled brush from avon in the sale for £3, bargin if you ask me! I have really been loving avon brushes recently, but of course there not a patch on my real tenchniques brushes. I bought this simple moisturiser from superdrug, and have been loving it so far! I wouldnt say its amazing at getting rid of spots, but it really moisturises  my face and absorbs quickly, perfect for a school morning!

I saw this in boots for around £5, and being the cheapskate that I am, I went to body care and brought it for £ 3, every penny counts....

Would you like a review on anything? If so, just tell me below in the comments :)

2true cheek 'n' lip stain

Hi everyone! I apologize for not getting a post up in ages, but hopefully (providing my laptop doesn't break!) I should be posting as usual. This post is on the 2true cheek and lip stain, which I brought some time ago.

2true retails for £1.99 a product (I believe) or 3 products for £5,the same price as natural collection products. The actuall product is very similar to benefits benetint. Just like benetint, its a liquid product, and the applicator is very similar to nail varnish packaging. As you can see from the photo above,it can be build up to create different looks.

It can be used on your lips as well, but I prefer to just use it on my cheeks. It creates a natural, rosy glow. It does leave a stain on your finger after blending it out,so you want to be careful with that. I wasn't too happy with the packaging as the lid cracked within a hour of owning it, but thankfully, not much product spilled out! I guess for £1.99 they had to cut costs somewhere, and I guess it was with the packaging in this case.
